Shermaine O. "Maine" Rose, 37, of Hartford passed away on June 22, 2017. He was born on September 28, 1979 to Louie Robinson and Sharon Rose. Shermaine was a proud father and kept a smile on his face. He leaves to cherish his memories his mother Sharon Rose, father Louie Robinson, son Tremaine Rose, stepmother Shirley Robinson, sister Shantay Robinson, brother Alonzo Fair, a special cousin Britany Strong and a host of family and friends. A celebration of Shermaine's life will be held on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 11am at Henry L. Fuqua Funeral Service (A division of Howard K. Hill Funeral Services) 94 Granby Street, Bloomfield, CT 06002 with calling hour from 10-11am. Interment will be held privately with the family. Lerman you were the light and joy of your mother's light. I remembered when you were born. Your mom and I go back a long ways. I was a young girl shampooing hair for her at Pink Terrance Hair Salon. She bevame the Godmother I never had. We were very close and she was a loving Godmother to my son Terrance. I remembered the day we dedicated him to her in church. I know she is at a lost without you. When I seen her at your funeral my heart was broken hearted for many reasons most of all she didn't even know me any more. I lost contact with her when she became I'll, but often asked others about her and her whereabouts to no avail. I miss the woman she wasto Yerance and myself. She hang many Goddaughter's, but only one Godson and then her world had gotten brighter with the birth of you. The fact that her only child is not here for her anymore truly hurts. Please watch over her as you have taken your peaceful rest. I miss you and only wish that life had home differently for you.

Shermaine,I remember a conversation we had a while ago when we ran into each other and we spoke about some things. I am so sadden that you and your God Brother Terance never created a bond that could have been inspirational for you and him. Sometimes it is hard being the only child not having a sibling close to confidence in with your deepest thoughts. You can rest now and be at peace with life here on this Earth.
Sharon, I can't imagine what this time brings to your life. Know that you are a great mother and in time healing for you will strengthen. Hold on to the fond memories you have of your baby and you will smile again.
