Sherry BRODER Obituary

BRODER, Sherry F. Sherry F. Broder, 70, of Delray Beach, FL, and New London, and formerly of Bloomfield, passed away on Sunday (October 17, 2010). Born in Hartford to Max and Esther (Holcomb) Roatberg. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Martin Broder and her children Dr. Kenneth (and Melissa) Broder of Stamford; Kimberly Levine of Boca Raton, FL; and Dr. Kevin (and Laura) Broder of Minneapolis, MN. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Sarah and Mia Broder, Lindsey and Brooke Levine and Nathan Broder. Also surviving her is her sister Lorna (and Paul) Pincus of Milford and Allen (and Muriel) Roatberg of Queens, NY. Sherry was dedicated to her family and many friends. She was very active in her local synagogue as well as community organizations. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 19, at 2 p.m. at Beth Hillel Synagogue 160 Wintonbury Avenue, Bloomfield, CT. Evening service will be held at the home of Barbara and Carl Reisner, 43 Cliffmount Drive, Bloomfield, CT. The family will also be receiving visitors be at 1128 Ocean Avenue, New London, CT on Wednesday and Thursday.
