Sidney Temkin Obituary
TEMKIN, Sidney H. Sidney H. Temkin, 82, of West Hartford died Tuesday, (December 26, 2006). Born in Hartford, he was the son of the Nathan and Celia (Wolozin) Temkin. He was a clerk at Temkin Drug in Hartford. He leaves his brother, Irving Temkin and his wife Natalie of West Hartford; a nephew, Mark Temkin of Denver, CO., two nieces, Eileen Mydosh and her husband James of Derby, and Ronna Wheeler and her husband William of Burlington, VT; and several great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held TODAY, Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Beth Hillel Synagogue Cemetery, Wolcott Rd., East Granby with Rabbi Gary Atkins officiating. A memorial period will be observed Thursday following the funeral at the home of his brother, Irving Temkin, 40 Crabapple Rd., West Hartford. Memorial contributions may be made to the Jewish Association for Community Living, 900 Asylum Ave., Hartford 06105. Arrangements are entrusted to Weinstein Mortuary, Hartford. Sidney had a way of making you feel like the center of the room. Whenever i came to Arapahoe he would stop everything and look up at me with bright eyes and open arms. He will be deeply missed by me and many others, but this world was made a little brighter because of Sid

I remember Sid worling behind the
counter at the store whenever I came in to visit. He always had a smile for me and enjoyed a good laugh with all the guys. I'm so sorry he's gone

To My Honey Sidney,
Sid was great man. I enjoyed going into Arapahoe every Sunday and making him smile. Even though he couldn't remember my name, when I said "Hi Honey", his eyes would light up and big smile would spread across his face; he remembered me. I will always remember my Honey and I will miss him dearly! I love you Sid!!!
