SANDOVAL GONZALEZ, Sofia
Sofia Sandoval Gonzalez, 93, of Hartford, passed away peacefully, Saturday (February 2, 2013) at Apple Rehab in Rocky Hill. She was born on August 18, 1922 in Huanuco, Perù to Esteban Gonzales and Estefa Villanueva. Sofia was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and wife. She was adored by her family and will be deeply missed. She migrated to the United States with her late husband of 70 years, Enrique Sandoval in 1988. She was a devoted Jehovah's Witness, who dedicated her life to her religion; she enjoyed spreading the word of Jehovah door to door. She was a master chef in the kitchen, always having a hot meal ready for her kids and grandkids. Sofia enriched all of our hearts and our minds; we are at peace knowing she is once again reunited with her husband. Sofia is survived by her beloved children; Carlos (Chicago), Dora (New Britain), Roberto (Hartford), Ana (Hartford), Jose (New Britain); daughters-in-law and sons-in-law, Geny, Cesar, Margarita, Pilar; 13 grandchildren, and her 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The calling hours will be on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford. The Funeral Service will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in West Meadow Cemetery, Newington. Online condolences may be made at www.sheehanhilbornbreen.com.

Sr. Jose Sandoval y Familia:
