Stephen H. Cormier

Stephen Henry Cormier left this life on September 19, 2023, surrounded by family after a long illness. Stephen was born to Henry and Irene Cormier on September 20, 1951, and was raised in East Hartford, Connecticut. He married Joyce Carol Kyc in 1972, together they made their home in South Windsor with their children. Stephen tirelessly worked to support his family first at First Brands for over 30 years worked and lastly at Rockbestos for over 20 years. Stephen was one of the first recipients of a successful living donor liver transplant in 2001 from his beloved daughter Rebekah. He was predeceased by his wife of nearly 50 years in June of 2021 and continued his long and resilient health battle without his soul mate. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, brothers and sisters. His family will celebrate his life privately on September 20th on what would have been his 72nd Birthday.
