To the Holden family, my deepest sympathies. Your son spent time at my house with my son and as a Mother going through things that I'm sure you faced with Stephen I can only imagine the emptiness and pain you feel . Perhaps if this community one day faces it's demons and opens it's eyes and hearts we can keep these tragedies from destroying more families. You will always remain in my prayers.

Mary Jo,
I am remembering the day Stephen and Jess walked down the aisle at Tish and Mark's wedding as ring bearer and flower girl. We all thought they made such a cute couple! While Jess waved all the way down, Stephen just smiled that wide smile and let her have all the glory. Time goes so fast. Hoping the memories bring you some comfort. We will keep all of you in our prayers.

The Holden Family,
Words can't express how sorry I am for the loss of Stephen. It seems like just yesterday that I was begging my dad to let me go to the prom with him. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the first person I truly loved. My prayers are with all of you each and every day. God had bigger plans for our Angel and he'll watch over all of us until we meet him again.

To the Holden Family:

Although I didn't know Stephen, I was his brother Nick's CCD teacher, so I got to know him and his mom during this time and also through seeing her at church now and then. My heart is heavy with sorrow for all of you, and my hope is that with all the outpouring of love and support from your family and friends that your burden will be made a little lighter.

My prayers go out to you all.

Stephen was a part of our family.....Carlos and Stephen shared a lot of happy and great times together.....at Friendly's and Six Flags to mention a few....Steve had his own nicknames in our house..."Glow Worm" and "neon"....he always had a smile for us..My children called him Uncle Steve and would sing his very own theme song every time he walked in. The would join hands around him and sing it while running in a circle around him.Steve we will always love and miss you, and you will never be forgotten. It gets harder day after day knowing that you were just taken from us. God had bigger plans for you, and we must all be strong and live our lives the way you would want us to do it. You will always be remembered as the free-spirited, loving, caring, funny, joyful human being that you were. I will forever love you, and forever miss you. I'll meet you up there someday. Watch over your loved ones, your mom, your dad, your brothers, your family, your friends, everyone you can. We need you, just like you needed us. It pains me when I see another cherished child gone too soon. We understand as our son gained his wings in 2003. Stephen will be your first thought with each sunrise and your last with every sunset. When the world returns to "normal" for everyone else and yours is forever changed, there are people who understand and are near to support you. I offer my heart in sympathy, my hands in friendship. during this time be gentle with yourselves, hold each other close and we will hold you in our prayers.
