Taki Langston Obituary
LANGSTON, Taki M. Taki M. Langston, 29, of Bloomfield passed away on Friday (August 18, 2006) with family by his side. He was born on January 17, 1977 in Hartford. He was the son of Maxine Langston and James Terry. Taki attended Hartford Public Schools. Besides his parents he leaves to mourn, a son, Taki Langston; a sister, Star Floyd; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends including the Countryman and Langston Families. Funeral services will be Thursday, Aug. 24, 11 a.m. with calling hour 10 a.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church, 280 Windsor Avenue, Windsor. F UQUA FUNERAL SERVICE, 94 Granby Street, Bloomfield has charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield.

Wow Today makes a full 8 years you have been out of our lives!! Yesterday was a hard day for me but I got thru it the same way I get thru all my hard days!! Your son has grow so much I just know you two would have a bond so deep!! He's mean as heck but he's also sweet and OMG so funny!! If I had one wish it would be for the two of you to have had more time with each other .. He's starting basketball next month and dance this month, dance and drill is real big down here in GA. He wants to do football but my baby is small and I'm scared he's gonna get hurt so maybe next year he will be a lil thicker. He's gained so much weight he stocked just like you!! Love & miss u..

and I live here on Earth,
and as far as I’ve been told,

I really don’t know much about you,
only what I’ve heard grown up’s say,
they say your something really magical,

almost every single day,
it all started about a 3 years ago,
when my Daddy went away.
They said that you took him far away,
to a very special place,
they said I shouldn't cry or worry,

I don’t care what they say,
they don’t know what’s in my heart,
all I know is that my Daddy is gone,
and it’s tearing me apart.

I want you to give my Daddy back to me,

You were the one cousin I called Uncle. The one person that everytime I saw you I would run into your arms. I miss it when you would pick me up over your head and say "watup big head". Its been almost three years since I've seen your face in person. When you died I couldnt believe it. My mother called the house at exactlly 11:58pm and told Grandma Linda, Asya, and I that you were gone. I fell to the floor and started crying. Around that time Asya and I weren't talking. After your funeral we realized that we cant take eachother for granted because we never knew what could happen.

Just wanted to let you know that I am missing you.
Let me tell you about that kid of yours!!!!!!!!!!
I gave your son a toy book to look at and I told him tell me what you want me to ask Santa for out of this book. Your son picked at least 4 things off each page that had boys stuff on it.
He is doing ok. Last week he had a throat infection and a respiratory infection he had me so scared!! Starr (you know she is always there no matter what day or night) and I brought him to the doctor and the gave him some steroids to help him with his breathing and so meds. So now he is back to being the terror that he is.
For Man Man b-day this year, I am going to have his b-party at this Children's Museum he love the museum. It is a good deal plus they let you pick from 4 different animals that you want to have out and the kids can play, touch and learn more about them. I am going to pick the snake or the rabbit not sure yet.
He took school pictures on my b-day they came out so nice he looks just like you it make no sense. I am sending Tommy one today.

What can I say it has been 2 long years without you. Your son is you in every way. He is starting to ask for you more and more. I just tell him that you are with the angles and that when he goes to sleep he will see you. He is going to a new school in Sep. go Man Man he is growing up so fast I don’t know were the time is going. He is soooo smart. Tae is going to middle school. I have a big girl now.
I wanted to put something in the paper for you but with me moving into the new house on the 30th and getting both of the kids school cloths money is tight. Merry Christmas
Your son had a ball yesterday he have so many toys he is running out of room in his room. He got his PS3 that he has been asking for and how about he only played with it for like 10 min yesterday. He is into action figures allot now and that is what the did all day yesterday is played. Most of the toys he got needed batteries and you no me I didn't even think to get any so he was kind of mad cause there was allot of things that he could not play with. He also got a lot of educational game he got the (Leap Frog) My first computer and he got the Smart cycle. He is so smart. As you know he is going to be three in a couple of days. He is going to have his party of the 5th of January. He will be starting a new school on the 7th of January a private school in New Britain. Talk to you next week to let you know how your son 3rd birthday goes.
