Thelma Ann Sharris

SHARRIS, Thelma Ann (Kaeser) Thelma Ann (Kaeser) Sharris, 87, widow of Joseph A. Sharris, of Malvern, PA, died Friday (July 10, 2009) after a brief illness. Born June 20, 1922 in West Hartford, the daughter of the late Leonard R. and Marie Latimer Kaeser, she made her home in Bloomfield, and later Harwich, MA, prior to moving to Pennsylvania. She was a graduate of Greenbrier College and was employed by Connecticut General Life Insurance Co., later Cigna, for 25 years, retiring in 1984. Her husband of 26 years predeceased her in 1985. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lindalee and William Oswald of Pennsylvania; three grandsons and a granddaughter-in-law, Matthew Oswald of California, Christopher and Laura Oswald of North Carolina, and Andrew Oswald of Boston, MA; and a great-granddaughter, Annelise Oswald of North Carolina. A private ceremony will be held at the gravesite. Memorial donations may be made to Neighborhood Hospice Inpatient Unit, 400 East Marshall Street, West Chester, PA 19380.
