Theresa Lorraine Gagnon

GAGNON, Theresa Lorraine Theresa Lorraine Gagnon, 78, of Windsor, beloved wife of the late Alcide N. Gagnon, passed away on Tuesday, (August 19, 2008) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford, daughter of the late Peter and Elmina (Marotte) Bisson, she had lived in West Hartford before moving to Windsor in 1953. Theresa was a communicant of St. Joseph Church in Poquonock, was a past president and longtime member of the St. Joseph Ladies Guild, and was an avid Bridge player. Theresa is survived by two daughters, Anita Gagnon and her husband, David Johnson of Windsor, and Laura Gagnon and Tony Morin of Manhattan, NY; two grandchildren, Wellington and Emerson Johnson; two brothers, Francis Bisson and his wife, Mary of Coventry, and Gerard Bisson of Stafford Springs; two sisters, Bernadette Brassard of Windsor, and Anita and her husband, Frank Kowal of Manchester; and many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Peter Gagnon; and three brothers, Armand, Raymond, and Norbert Bisson. Friends and family will gather on Monday, August 25, 9:15 a.m., at the Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home, 1816 Poquonock Ave., Poquonock section of Windsor, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., at St. Joseph Church, Poquonock. Burial will be in Windsor Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Her family will receive friends on Sunday, 5-7 p.m., at the Carmon Poquonock Funeral Home.
