Theresa M. Perzan

Theresa M. (Gworek) Perzan, 85, of New Britain, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023, two days after her beloved husband Louis F. Perzan, Jr. Born and raised in New Britain, daughter of the late Albert and Nellie (Machowski) Gworek, she settled in Plainville to raise her family before moving back to New Britain many years ago. Theresa spent her years caring for and raising her adored family. She enjoyed weekend fishing trips with her children, and visiting the casino and the shore with her husband. She was an avid UConn basketball fan, played Bingo whenever she could and was a talented cook and baker. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she leaves her three children, Gary Perzan and his wife Marilyn of Burlington, Robert Perzan and his wife Jacqueline of Burlington and Paula Perzan of New Britain, her three grandchildren, Courtney, Taylor and Jordan Perzan, and her great granddaughter Payton Pryor. She is also survived by her sister Helen Lombardo and her husband James of New Britain, and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 6th, at St. Jerome Church, 1010 Slater Rd., New Britain at 10:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain.
