DiPINTO, Vito S.
Vito S. DiPinto, 84, formerly of Berlin, beloved husband of the late Dorothy (Sakowicz) DiPinto, died Sunday, August 21 at The Pines at Bristol. Vito was born July 2, 1927 in New Britain to the late Joseph and Angeline (Catucci) DiPinto. Vito is survived by a daughter, Donna Drasdis and her husband Richard of Sarasota, FL, a son Donald DiPinto and his wife Elizabeth of Southington; and three grandchildren, Steven, Philip, and Julianna. Services will begin on Wednesday, August 24, 10:30 a.m. at the New Britain Memorial-Donald D. Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain, followed at 11:30 by a Christian Prayer Service, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Calling Hours will be Tuesday, from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made in Vito's name to the American Diabetes Association, 300 Research Pkwy, Meriden, CT 06450. Dear Donna and family. I am very sad that MR. Depinto pass away, I took care of him for the longest time while he was at the nursing home. It took me for surprise that he left us. I always will keep good memories from him. He was and still in my heart . Nice guy. Sincerely my condolense to you Donna.

I was very sad to see that Vito has passed. I remember both Vito and Dottie from the days they came to Newington HCC.
Vito and Dottie ran the bingo for our residents for a long time. I will always remember our talks and laughs.
