Dear Aunt Jane, Janie and Chris,
I want you to know I have been thinking about all of you since I heard the sad news about Uncle Walter. I was remembering some of the funny things from my visits to your house in Connecticut. I remember watching Walter type so fast in your basement. I thought it was awesome that he hardly made a mistake, even at that speed. Now as I'm pecking at this keyboard with 2 fingers, I still think it was amazing.I remember being allowed to drive in the car with you, Aunt Jane, to drop him off at work a few times and being impressed at him working in a court and getting to hear about all the cases. He even let me help him set up his court papers in a special order, making 7 layers of typing paper and carbon paper packets with a paper clip.I thought it was a pretty important job and I liked helping him. Janet, Jeannie and I recall the few times Walter preferred to jump on his bike to peddle to Stop and Shop for Fritos instead of eating the delicious smelling food on the barbeque! One time, Tommy and I were visiting all of you and we went in your pool. Walter called Jane in to tell her he thought I was skinny dipping because I had on a skin tone bathing suit that matched my summer tan! We all laughed about that! Whenever I see Swedish pancakes on the menu I think of Walter and Jane cooking us some great breakfasts! He used to like his junk food - soup bowls of ice cream, Fritos and we did, too! I also remember Walter teaching me to make scrambled eggs his way, which was to leave them in the pan till they browned a little and to this day, I still eat them like that! Wally Gator, we love you and will miss you!
Love,
xxxx

Dear Aunt Jane, Janie & Chris,
I have such fond memories of good ole Uncle Wally! One memory that stands out is when we went to see a Red Sox Game at Fenway Park! I remember being so impressed that he was a court reporter. I couldn't believe that he could make words from typing into the machine. I thought that was the coolest. He was always so nice to me and will be deeply missed. Our love to all of you during this difficult time.
Love,
Jeannie, Rich & Lynsey
