William Daley Sr.

1932 - 2022

William Daley, Sr, of Southington, beloved husband of Leona Strohecker Daley, past away peacefully on Nov 12, 2022 William was born in New Britain, CT, September 29, 1932. He is predeceased by his parents John Daley and Esther Bailey Daley, siblings Marion Streaman, John Daley, Elizabeth Nelligan and Catherine Ulan William went to New Britain schools. He served four years in the Navy aboard the USS McCaffery, 25 Years on the New Britain Police Force and 17 years at ESPN. William leaves his wife Leona of 66 years, daughter Eileen Daley, Son William Daley, Jr, Grandson Wil Dantona. Also his sister n laws Ellen Couture and Eileen Therieault and many nieces and nephews There will be private service at the State Veteran Cemetery Middletown, CT. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimer.org
