Bill was a great guy, he use to bring mehis cameras in need of repair and as an old Marine we would gas about the Navy and Marines and Vietnam. We both road BMW motorcycles and many a time I would drive down from Litchfield County to pick up a camera for repair or go to lunch with Bill. I witnessed firsthand his devotion to Mary, they were a team. Seems like the basement was always crammed with bikes. He will be sorely missed. My sympathies go out to the family.

Arrived in Connecticut to meet Bill as my son’s next door neighbour. A novice with woodland tools I foundBill a mine of advice on whatever I needed, especially chain saws!!. A loan of his gear and I was off. Margaret andI enjoyed a few nights on our annual visits with Mary and Bill and we were always happy to see them. He obviously missed Mary much and we will always remember his friendly approach. Lost touch when he moved to Old Saybrook but still could recount some of his tales on the 5.5’s which he blamed for his hearing and other maybe censored tales of life in the USN.

Bill and I were very close and had a wild childhood, then kind of went our Own ways in later life. I could not have had a better close friendship than mine with Bill. I think of him often now that he is gone, and miss him even though we have not seen much of each other for some time. I know you really miss your Dad, I’m so sorry.

I don't have a chance to meet Bill but I've been working with Curtiss for few years and I get a chance to have a glimpse of his character by their travels together.. He is a happy and adventurous person. He will be missed!

In loving memory of Bill, a wonderful friend and bright spot in my life the past five years. We shared many happy times together with our interest in art, photography and flowers. I will miss him.

Bill was a very unique man with a free spirit and a desire to do it all. I spent many years watching Bill enjoy his life and doing his thing. I know that Sally gave him two special children and that Mary gave him many wonerfull years of love and adventures.
Rest in peace Bill and may God bless you.
