Glendale
Dawn McBeth Fillingame, 64, of Glendale, passed away unexpectedly at her home Saturday, November 19, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at the Hattiesburg Community Church with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
Dawn will be best remembered for her bright smile, her generous spirit, and her love for family and friends. She was a member of the Hattiesburg Community Church and was preceded in death by her father, James McBeth; her mother, Venetia Delk McBeth Finch; and a brother Robert Finch.
She is survived by her husband of forty -six years, Henry Fillingame of Glendale; a daughter, Amanda (Shain) Ulmer of Petal; a son, Wesley Fillingame of Hattiesburg; a sister, Reba Finch Barber of Kingsport, TN; four brothers, James McBeth of Eatonville, Buford (June) McBeth of Eatonville, Gary McBeth of Glendale, Don (Barbara) McBeth of Little Rock, AR; eight beloved grandchildren, Keltie, Keely, Eli Fillingame, Max Quave, Elizabeth Bryan, Leo, Emerin, Mason Ulmer; and sister-in-law and supporting friend, Jean Finch of Eatonville.

Henry and children--I am so sorry about your beloved Dawn ..a shinning star for all of you. I am glad you got to see her recover from the difficult time she had when she was so ill. Henry, you are so blessed to have been with you love for all these years. I remember going to your wedding just a few months before my David died in 1970. I remember Dan sitting on the front pew in the church being so proud and your mother smiling and pretty. You and Dawn sent flowers for David. Just before he passed away, we had some sort of family reunion at Shelby and you guys came dressed alike in blue and white. So young and with your whole lives ahead of you. It was a blessed time. That was the last summer we had David, and Winston was gone the next August. God Bless You, and I Love You...pat
