Lumberton
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday February 22, 2012 at White Funeral Home, Lumberton for Mrs. Ethlyn K. Smith, 82, of Lumberton, Mississippi who died Tuesday February 21, 2012 in Forrest General Hospital, Hattiesburg. Rev. Keith Hagenson will officiate at the service. Burial will follow in the Lumberton City Cemetery.
She was a retired assistant manager with Bass Pecan Company and a member of Lumberton United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Inez Black-Kirk; and her daughter, Dee Dee Smith-Reid.
Survivors include her husband, Kennon R. Smith of Lumberton, MS; two sons, Louis Smith and his wife Dianne of Colorado Springs, CO and Al Smith and his wife Tami of Aurora, CO; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Our prayers are with you all during this time of loss. Ethlyn was a wonderful lady and I will always remember the hospitality that she and Kennon so often showed all of us kids at their home on Cochran drive in Nashville. I will remember it as my second home. Love you all.
