Fredna Robertson Obituary
Hattiesburg
Fredna Garrick Robertson, 90, of Hattiesburg, died Saturday March 12, 2011, at Bedford Care in Petal. Services will be Tuesday March 15, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Moore Funeral Chapel in Hattiesburg, Miss. A graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. in Bethel Methodist Cemetery in Covington County.
Mrs. Robertson had worked as a sales clerk and seamstress for Patti Ruth Dress Shop in Picayune, Ms., and also at Carr Department Store in Sevierville, Tenn. She was a member of Grace Chapel Baptist Church in Hattiesburg.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce and Easter Garrick; her husband, George Melvin Robertson; a daughter, Jan Robertson, and four brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by one son, Dr. Gerald Robertson (Sunny) of Monroe, La.; three daughters, Marsha Shelton (Lee) of Falcon Heights, Minn., Nancy Tankersley (Don) of Sevierville, Tenn., and Lynn Bales (Don) of Purvis, Miss.; one sister, Jewell Ware of Brandon, Miss.; twelve grandchildren, Jerry Robertson, Kim Elliot, Sean Robertson, Drake Coplen, Polly Douglas Robertson, Lee Shelton IV, Christy Washburn, Sharla Foster, David Tankersley, Jason Tankersley, Dwayne Williams, Cliff Bales; and eight-teen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday March 15, 2011 from 9 a.m. till service at Moore Funeral Home in Hattiesburg.
