Betty June Crippin, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on December 18, 2024, at the age of 94.

Born on June 4, 1930, in Sisters, Oregon, Betty was raised as a cowgirl in the heart of the beautiful Oregon countryside. From a young age, she exhibited a strong spirit and a love for the Western way of life, becoming the Sisters Rodeo Queen at just 16. Her early years were filled with hard work, grit, and a deep connection to the land she loved.

In the 1970s, Betty relocated to Lake Havasu, where she would spend the rest of her life. A proud member of Daughters of The American Revolution, the Colonial Dames, the Elks, and various other organizations. Betty was known for her kindness, generosity, and active involvement in her community. She was a true pillar of support to everyone who knew her, and her vibrant spirit and warmth will be missed by all who had the privilege of calling her a friend.

Betty was the loving mother of three daughters, Crystal, June, and Kareen, and grandmother to seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family, who were the center of her life.

She was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be remembered for her infectious smile, boundless energy, and unwavering love for her family and community. Betty's passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, but her memory will live on through the generations she touched.

Betty was a true original, and she will be so deeply missed by all.

At Betty's request, there will be no service. Her family will take her home to Oregon.
