Brener Stanton Obituary

Brener "Stan" Stanton, 91 years old, of Lake Havasu City, AZ passed away April 26, 2021 in his home. He was born in Burbank, California to Gale and Mildred Stanton on May 5, 1929.
Stan retired at 55 years old and moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ in 1984. His motto was, "Fun! Fun! Fun!". He enjoyed boating, water skiing, motorbike riding, back-roading in his VW bug and camping along the California coast. His favorite view was looking at Lake Havasu from his front porch.
Stan is preceded in death by his wife Barbara Stanton (who passed away on August 9, 2018) and his eldest son Bruce Stanton (survived by spouse Pam). Stan is survived by his sons Larry Stanton (Irene) and David Stanton, daughter Laurie Downing (Bradley), seven grandchildren, Jake and Sean Stanton, Ben Bizar-Stanton, Rachel Bennett (Kyle), Nicole Cooper (Nick), Brandon and Brittany Downing, five great-grandchildren Liam and Jackson Cooper, Giovanni Bizar-Stanton, Colby Bennett, and Hadley Stanton.
Stan was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife, Barbara, in Newhall, CA.
The family of Stan wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Hospice of Havasu and Gems Assisted Living, who cared for him for over three years. And a special thank you to the care-givers, who cared for him and loved him.
