Keith Clopton Obituary

Keith Wayne Clopton passed away peacefully at Haven of Havasu rehab facility, with family and staff members by his side. I want to mention what a wonderful place Haven of Havasu is, all the staff members treated my father with love and care.
Keith is preceded in death by Kenneth and Mattie Lee Clopton (parents) and Carol June Clopton (wife). Keith is survived by his loving son Jonny Clopton, and loving granddaughter Cayla Clopton, 3 step children: Cartha Threati, Ronnie and Mike Morris and 5 step grandchildren.
Keith was born in Lawton Oklahoma, then moved to California in 1968 where he worked as a commercial construction superintendent. Keith and Carol moved to Havasu in 1994 and Keith traveled back and forth to California for work. He retired in 2008 and lived in Havasu full time with his wife Carol.
They loved going out to dinner and dancing. When his granddaughter Cayla was young, they loved going on long road trips together. Cayla was his pride and joy. After retiring his main hobby was playing golf with all of his close friends. He also loved watching his Nascar racing.
Keith was loved by anyone who came in contact with him. He was a great husband, father and grandfather. He will be terribly missed by his family and friends, as well as anyone who knew him.
