Michael Mason Obituary

Michael David Mason was born October 9, 1951 in Charlotte, Michigan, preceded in death by Milford and Joan Marie Mason.
He attended high school in Clarkston, Michigan. He received his college degree in communications in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
After college Mike relocated to California where he worked for various radio stations as a disc jockey.
For 20 years Mike maintained his own business, Mason TV Repair in Yucca Valley California. He retired from Wal-Mart after 20 years of service. Here is where he met and married the love of his life, Christine Murphy Mason on June 14, 2003.
While still living in Yucca Valley California, Mike would listen to KNLB faithfully. After retiring Mike and Chris relocated to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was so inspired and encouraged by the teaching and music of KNLB, that God impressed on his heart to get more involved. Mike and Chris became volunteers at the station. He later became a very distinctive voice on KNLB. He did the voiceovers for TreeHouse One and the weather announcements.
Mike was a faithful member of The Stonebridge Fellowship Church since 2011. Here he volunteered as the audio/visual tech.
Mike will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 20 years, Christine Mason, 2 brothers; Gordon (Nancy) Mason, Gary (Debbie) Mason, of Michigan, 1 sister Marcia (Bruce) Mercado of Clarkston, Michigan, 2 daughters; Tami and Christina, and one son Brad, all of California, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Sleep on Mike and take your rest, we all loved you, but God loved you best.
