Richard Fulmer Obituary

On June 17, 2025 Richard Thomas Fulmer passed away at the age of 76 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Rick grew up in Turtle Creek Pennsylvania with his mom Helen father William and siblings Kathy, Jim, and Maxine they later moved to Southern California. Rick proudly served in the red horse division of the air force in Vietnam. When he returned back to the states he met his soon to be wife of 53 years Sonja Fulmer. They married and had their daughter Tanielle. They moved to Valencia and had their sons Travis and Trevor. Rick loved Nascar and would take the family to the Riverside Raceway every year for the Nascar race. He eventually even bought his own race car and would race locally at the Saugus raceway. Rick ended up moving with his family to Lake Havasu in 1989. He started his own screen printing company until he decided to slow down and sold the company. Ricks love for golf was his next obsession. He got a job working at the nautical golf course and would golf almost daily. He was a proud member of the eagles, VFW, and elks. He served as commander and district commander of the VFW. Rick was monumental on bringing the 14 panels of the Vietnam wall to Havasu for dis-play. Rick also led the St. Patricks day parade and ran the tin man charity golf tournament for 17 years. Rick and Sonja also ran the karaoke at the eagles for over 20 years. He was loved by many. Rick is survived by his wife Sonja, daughter Tanielle, son Travis (the favorite writing this) daughter in law Crystal siblings Kathy and Jim and grandchildren Trenton, Shawn, Katelin, and Jace. Rick was preceded in death by his granddaughter Savannah and son Trevor. His celebration of life will be held at The Eagles in Lake Havasu City on October 12, 2025 at 2p.m.
