Donnie Turner, 60, of Hazard, passed away on Aug. 12, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard. He was the son of the late Marcus Turner and Belva Fox Turner. He is also preceded in death by two brothers, Elmer and Jimmy Turner; three sisters, Jean Brock, Earlene Molin, and Yvonne Vires; and one step-grandson, Cody Collins.
He is survived by his companion of 25 years, Jenny Feltner; three daughters, Misty Elaine Harris and James Bryant, Christy Anglina and Anthony Burns, and Chelsea Nicole Smith and Brandon Lowe; one son, Darrell Turner; one step-son, Bubby Feltner; two step-daughters, Cindy and Missy Feltner; four sisters, Joyce and Paul Miniard, Glenda and Isaac Hollins, Terri and Tom Turner, and Pauline and Teddy Burke; one brother, Ronnie Lee and Vanda Turner; five grandchildren, Quentin Woods, Charity Harris, Olivia Harris, MaKayla Burns, and Tristan Vanover; four step-grandchildren, Jimmy Dunn, Travis Dunn, Jonathan Smith, and Amber Mercer; one uncle, Johnny Roger Fouts; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Arrangements were handled by Maggard's Mountain View Chapel, where family received friends from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 14, and funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Friday, Aug. 15, with Calvin Bowling officiating. Interment was at the Beech Bottom Cemetery in Cutshin.
