Chester Stivers Obituary
NEW CASTLE
Chester A. Stivers, Jr. passed away May 26, 2025. He was the son of the late Leona Ruth (Hall) and Chester Arthur Stivers, Sr., he served his country in the National Guard and was a life-long farmer. Chester was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy and Michael Stivers, and a nephew, Jeff Stivers.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sandra (Neal) Stivers of New Castle; daughter, Shanna Dave (Kamlesh) and Danielle McKee (Mike); grandchildren, Micah McKee Stigers (TJ), Matthew McKee and Kai Dave; great-grandchildren, Katie and Sydney Oesterritter; sisters, Charlotte McAlister and Cheryl Smith (David); brother, Neil Hall Stivers (Louise); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on May 29, 2025, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by JT Stinson. Burial will be in New Castle Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time on May 29.
