Farrill Davis Obituary
MILTON
Rev. Ferrill Ray Davis Sr. passed away May 20, 2025. He was the son of the late Harold W. and Helen L. Davis. After graduating from high school, Ferrill joined the United States Army. He owned the Davis Insurance Agency in New Castle. Ferrill was an ordained minister and in 1982, he began preaching at Sulphur Baptist Church.
His life will be cherished by his wife of 59 years, Phyllis of Milton; sons, Ferrill "Ray" Davis, Jr. (Nora) and Robert Michael "Rob" Davis (Tracey); 11 grandchildren; 25 great- grandchildren, as well as two great- grandchildren that he was anxiously waiting to be born; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Paige Leigh Davis and his brother, Robert H. Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. May 24, 2025, at Bedford Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. May 23 and from 9 a.m. until service time on May 24. Interment will be in Moffett Cemetery in Milton. Lytle Welty Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
