Irvin Retzlaff Obituary
Sulphur
Irvin John Retzlaff of Sulphur passed away Sunday, Feb. 26, 2023. Son of the late Carl and Bertha (Broening) Retzlaff, he was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in La Grange. He was preceded in death by his wife, Venetha June Retzlaff; a son, Lynn H. Retzlaff; and brothers, Ralph Retzlaff and Fred Retzlaff.
He is survived by a daughter, Diane Lee of New Castle; sons, Craig Lee Retzlaff (Cindy) of Sulphur and Dennis Dean Retzlaff (Debbie) of Columbus, Ohio; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home with burial in New Castle Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Craig Lee Retzlaff, Jr., Michael Paul Retzlaff, John Eric Retzlaff, Kyle Thomas Retzlaff and Noah Todd Retzlaff. Honorary Pallbearers are Faith Marie Lee and Kari Beth Retzlaff.
Memorial contributions may be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
