Katherine Posey Obituary
New Castle
Katherine (Fields) Posey passed away Jan. 12, 2022. Katherine was the daughter of the late Joe Ernest & Mammie (Wilson) Fields and was preceded in death by her husband, James W. Posey; sisters, Elma Simmons and Juanita Lenyoun; and a half-sister, Frances Gray.
She is survived by her daughter, Verna Holt; half-sister, Delorise Nettles; and half-brother, Joe E. Fields.
Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. Robert J. Fields, with burial in New Castle GUOOF Cemetery. Visitation is 11 a.m. until service time on Saturday at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
