Matthew Meyer Obituary
Shelbyville
Matthew Thomas Meyer of Shelbyville passed away on Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022 at Norton's Hospital. He was born Aug. 8, 1990, to Joseph Matthew Meyer and Robin Michelle Aldridge Hale. He previously worked as a processor for Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort and was a barrel artisan. Matthew loved long range rifles, fishing and was a turkey and deer hunter.
He is survived by his wife: Jade Lauren Enyeart Meyer of Shelbyville, Ky.; one son: Jaxon Forrest Meyer; his parents: Joseph Matthew Meyer (Angela) of Gratz, Ky. and Robin Michelle Aldridge Hale of Frankfort, Ky.; one brother: Trenton Webster of Lockport, Ky.; two sisters: Meloni Ann Chesser of Lockport, Ky. and Taylor Faith Tracy of Ohio; one nephew: Bobby Chesser; one niece: Annalee Grace Smither; his paternal grandparents: David and Christine Meyer of New Liberty, Ky.; and his maternal grandmother: Betty Booth of Point Pleasant, Ky.
He was preceded in death by two brothers: Channing Faith Tracy and Michael Dean Hale; maternal grandfather: Robert Dean Aldridge; and his maternal great grandparents: Forrest Thomas Aldridge and Hester Aldridge.
A celebration of life was held 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, 2022 at Lockport Baptist Church. Bro. Paul Briscoe officiated. Burial was at Wallace Cemetery in Lockport, Ky.
Pallbearers were Jordan Stanley, Stephen Couch, Brandon Fisher, Trenton Webster, Cavan Webster, and Owen Arnold, Jr.
