Phillip Chapman Obituary
Warsaw
Phillip "Phil" R. Chapman of Warsaw, Kentucky passed away Friday, Jan. 17, 2025, at Louisville Norton's Hospital with his family by his side. He was born Jan. 31, 1951, to the late William Clyde and Beatrice Huey Chapman in Shelby County, Kentucky. He was a 1970 graduate of Shelby County High School and a 14-year United States Army veteran.
Along with his parents, Phil was preceded in death by his three brothers, William C. Chapman, Jr., Robert H. Chapman and Virgil D. Chapman; and one sister, Mabel V. Chapman.
Phil is survived by his wife of 26 years, Judith 'Judi' Perry Chapman; son, James Chapman of Frankfort; stepson, Darren Taylor of Milton; grandson, Trenton Taylor of Milton; brother Michael R. Chapman of Frankfort; and two sisters, Lorraine Hawkins of Campbellsburg and Deborah (James) Pollard of Pleasureville.
Phil was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

It was such an honor to know Phil and to be able to care for him. We had a wonderful bond along with my coworker Heather. He always told us how much he missed us when we were gonna and would tell us we were his favorites. He will be dearly missed. To his family we send our deepest sympathies.
