Tamara Carter Obituary
Franklinton
Tamara Kay (Wilson) Carter of Franklinton passed away on Friday, July 22, 2022. Daughter of the late Chester Allen and Mary Josephine (Wood) Wilson, she was a homemaker and a member of Franklinton Baptist Church. She loved her grandbabies and enjoyed spending time with her family. Tammy was preceded in death by her husband, Rocky Carter; son, Matthew Scott Carter; three sisters and one brother.
Tammy is survived by her son, Jeremy Todd Carter (Nancy Sherwood) of Louisville; daughter-in-law, Courtney Carter of Louisville; brother, Allen Wilson (Shari) of Grand Rapids, Mich.; grandchildren, Corey (Lauren), Cheyenne, Jake and Katelynn; and great-grandchildren, Hunter, Tatum and Noah.
Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2022 at Franklinton Baptist Church (7681 Point Pleasant Road, Pleasureville Ky. 40057), officiated by Rev. Jacky Newton, with interment in Franklinton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Franklinton Baptist Church Summer Camp Fund. Visitation will be 10 a.m. until service time on Monday at Franklinton Baptist Church. Arrangements entrusted to Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
