Gerald Stephen "Jerry" Anderson

1938 - 2026

Gerald "Jerry" Stephen Anderson, 87 years old, of Healdsburg, CA passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026 at his home with his wife Tricia Coxhead.

Jerry was born on November 9,1938 in Jacksonville, Texas to Leonard Earl Anderson and Christine Kitty Anderson. He attended Rice University and the University of Oklahoma, earning his bachelor's degree in architecture.

Jerry was an architect, contractor, designer, and artist. Though Jerry had many careers his life's passion was connecting with the world through art. Jerry's artwork explored the archetypal essence of creativity through vibrant acrylic paintings that celebrated the female form and the universal energies that connect us all. Jerry's artwork was recognized internationally, with exhibitions in the United States, China, Denmark, Italy, Morocco, and the Middle East. He exhibited regularly with Agora Gallery in New York City and locally at Healdsburg Center for The Arts. Jerry lived the past 50 years in Healdsburg, California and worked as an architect in the greater Bay Area and Sonoma County.

Jerry met the love of his life, Tricia Coxhead, in the Spring of 1990 and married on June 19, 2005. Jerry was lucky to share a love, friendship, and spiritual bond with Tricia for 35 years.

Jerry was a devoted father, grandfather. He enjoyed gathering together, sharing his wisdom, and lifting spirits with his sense of humor. He loved music, dancing, good food- especially Mexican, and margaritas. Sharing his art and thoughts on life and the spiritual world were ways he enjoyed connecting with others. Jerry was a light force, if you were not taken by the sparkle in his eyes, you would surely be engaged by his gregarious, outgoing personality. Jerry loved connecting with people, it was not uncommon for Jerry to engage strangers in conversation. These encounters left others feeling seen, enriched, and energized.

He is survived by his spouse, Tricia Coxhead; his children, Noel Anderson, Carolyn Anderson Goehring, Christopher Anderson, Doug Toth, and Cramer Toth; and his grandchildren, Claire Conard, Garrett Goehring, Avery Taylor Goehring, Christopher Anderson "CJ", Asher Anderson, Maxwell Toth, Annalise Toth, Sara Toth, Coleen Peterson, Cadence Anderson; and great-grandchildren, Soren and Ander Peterson. He was preceded in death by his daughters Shaun Brewer and Jessica Anderson-Conard.
