Barron Brown Obituary

Barron K. Brown passed away at home with his wife and son July 9, 2025. Barron was born October 24, 1934 in Ronan to Nina and Clarence Brownlee. Later Nina married Ray H. Brown who adopted Barron and his siblings.

Barron attended several rural schools and graduated from Fergus in Lewistown. He joined the USAF and spent most of his time in Japan. After the USAF he was employed by Graybar Electric in Butte where he met and married Bonnie Judd, November 20, 1965. Later Barron began his 34 year career with the State of Montana, retiring in Helena June 1996.

Barron is survived by wife Bonnie, son Judson, daughter Kyla (Mark) Abegglen, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brother John (Pat) Brown, step brothers Jim (Alice), and Michael (Mary) Brown.

Preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Bill Brown, Lorraine Madera and Lenore Harcharik, and also his step sibings, Clifford McDonald, Mary Lee Comes and Carlene Erlandson.

Barron was a very kind and generous man.
