Lynn Morrison Obituary

It is with great sadness and love that we announce Lynn Marie Morrison, 65, a beacon of kindness and generosity, passed away on Saturday, August 17th. Lynn's extraordinary warmth, boundless love, and unwavering support touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her.

Born June 4, 1959, Lynn entered this world as a beautiful spirit. An incredible athlete, Lynn was a junior Olympic hurdler and loved playing softball. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, beloved Grammy, cherished sister, and steadfast friend who embodied the true meaning of selflessness. Her life was a testament to the power of compassion and the strength of a giving heart.

Lynn spent her life in service to others, first, as a nurse at Helena Pediatric Clinic followed by years as a nurse in Obstetrics and NICU at St. Peter's Hospital. Later, as a nurse care manager, Lynn spent countless hours advocating for her patients and ensuring they received the best care possible. Her unwavering dedication and caring spirit led to many lifelong friends who will miss her deeply.

Lynn loved her family fiercely and had an unparalleled ability to make those around her feel valued and loved. Lynn married the love of her life, Stan, on August 24, 2002. They shared a simple, beautiful life, cherishing every moment together. She was a nurturing mother who loved her children and grandchildren beyond measure. Lynn was a committed sister who showed her love through countless acts and words of kindness. A pillar of unwavering support and devotion, her deep, enduring love enriched the lives of her family every day.

Her generosity knew no bounds. Lynn would give anything and everything to support those she loved and strangers alike. Her kind acts, big and small, reflected her generous spirit and her genuine desire to make the world a better place.

She leaves behind a legacy of love that will forever live in the hearts of those who knew her. Left to cherish Lynn's memory are her husband, Stan Morrison, and her children, Paul (Kathy) Bushnell, and grandchildren Chaz and Connor Bushnell, Kendra (Ryan) Smith, and grandchildren Kellan and Declan Smith, and Jake Bushnell. She is also survived by her brother Larry (Suzanne) Erpenbach, her sister Bonnie (Loren) Keller, and countless family members, friends, coworkers, and community members who will carry forward her gift of compassion and kindness. She is reunited with her mother, Audrey Erpenbach, with whom she held an irreplaceable and all-encompassing bond.

Lynn's presence in our lives was a blessing we will always cherish. Her spirit and the lessons she imparted will remain a guiding light to all fortunate enough to experience her warmth and generosity. Her love will continue to inspire us, and her memory will be a source of comfort and strength. Those lucky enough to know her can find her in every adopted pet, every DIY project, every pair of matching Christmas pajamas, and every sale that can't be missed.

A celebration of Lynn's life will be held on Saturday, August 24th at 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at Tizer Gardens in Jefferson City, MT. The family would like to thank Lynn's dear friend Deb Whitcomb for being a light in the darkness by planning the gathering. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local charity of your choice, reflecting Lynn's lifelong commitment to helping others.

Lynn Morrison's life was a beautiful testament to the power of love and kindness. As we say our goodbyes, we find solace in the knowledge that her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return. Rest peacefully, Mom.

Lynn was the best Nurse for patients, families and friends. We worked together at Helena Medical Clinic and through the years if I needed an answer for a patient about their insurance Lynn answered the call ( even on a weekend). Her smile when she talked about her children and grandchildren was all you needed to know she was happy in her life. My thoughts and prayers are with Stan and family.

I would know those kind and wonderful eyes anywhere. Thank you Lynn for caring for me when I had my first baby at St Pete´s in 2005. You were absolutely extraordinary. I told everyone it was like having an angel be with me. I am so sad to hear of your passing. Sending love and light all who knew and loved you the most. What a gem of a person.

I had the pleasure of working with Lynn at New West Health Services. She was an absolute delight! She worked hard to help members who needed medical managed care services.
I am so saddened by her passing. Way too young.
My condolences to her family and friends.

Lynn was the kindest, most respectful person. She was a good friend and an amazing nurse and from her conversations about her kids and grandkids, I know she was a great mama. I´m so sorry for all her family. What a huge loss for all.
