COUER D ALENE, ID - Walt passed away September 29, 2023 in Couer d Alene, Idaho after an extended illness.
Walt is survived by brothers: Mark (Carol) and James; sister, Ruth. Walt is also survived by his children: Shawna (Brent), Christopher (Sveta), and Kathy (Jamie); and his grandchildren: Alex, Tasia, Sasha, Jadyn and Jamison; and great-granddaughter, Leighton. He is also survived by his wife, Janet at their home in Sandpoint; and his stepchildren: Rick and Nicholas (Kristen); and step-grandchildren: RJ, Eli, Mia and Kai.
Per his instructions Walt wanted no memorial service.

Am so sad to read about Walter's passing. A hard-working man, a professional in his field, very reliable, and a long-time good friend. It was a privilege to know such an honest man. My most sincere condolences to his extended family.

Sorry for your loss. I knew Walt from his years of working with Ron in their business in Helena in the 70s...a long time ago. Walt was always a welcome face on those construction job.
