Angela Whitt Obituary
ANGELA MAY WHITT, 62, of Wayne, WV, went to be with the Lord Thursday, October 30, 2025 at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born February 22, 1963 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of Norman Lee Lockhart of Wayne, WV and the late Rosa Lee Perdue Lockhart. Angela was a personal caregiver and a Christian by faith. She attended Florence Memorial United Methodist Church.
In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Roy Lockhart and Verlie Nottingham, Charles Perdue and Ruth Perdue.
Additional survivors include her son, Rodney Whitt (Julie) of Wayne, WV; Ruthie Lockhart (John Chastain) of Barboursville, WV; three brothers, Roger Lockhart, Gary Lockhart, both of Wayne, WV, Brian Lockhart (Christie) of Hurricane, WV; a niece, Lindsey Lockhart; two nephews, Jacob Lockhart and Brandon Adkins; her beloved ex-husband, Jackie Whitt; and her beloved pet, "Sally."
A celebration of her life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, November 7, 2025 at Morris Funeral Home, Wayne, WV by Pastor Michael Dillon. Family and friends will gather one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
