BETTY CHAFIN Obituary
BETTY JO CHAFIN, 61, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, W.Va. She was born September 3, 1954 in Huntington, W.Va., daughter of the late John T. and Gladys M. Mayes Kirk. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers Bobby Ray Kirk and Lonnie Michael Owens. She is survived by her husband Jerry Chafin; one son J.W. (Amanda) Chafin; four daughters Angela Finley, Bonnie Clark, Marlo Simpkins and Ethel Boden; nine grandchildren including Zack, J.T. and Dixie; four great grandchildren; two brothers Charles (Crystal) Mayes and Ronnie (Marian) Kirk; and several nieces and nephews including Ronnie Kirk. The family will receive friends 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
