Billy Collins Obituary
BILLY JOE COLLINS JR., 61, of Barboursville, WV and owner of Bill's Barbershop in Winfield passed away March, 23rd at home on his hillside doing what he loved. Billy passed from heart trouble and his passing was instant. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; Bill and Cora Collins. Billy is survived by the love of his life of 37 years, Terrie Collins, his sister Christina Collins, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, and cousins.
Billy's family would like to thank his loyal customers for their condolences.
Billy did what he enjoyed, cutting hair since the 90's. Billy was a true character that loved to interact spiritedly with everyone he met. He was an avid fisher and bow hunter who had a thirst for outdoor adventure and travel. Billy's ornery streak, the twinkle in his eyes, his smile, and most of all, his spirit will truly be missed by all.
Pallbearers will be Steve Deweese, Jeremy Hicks, Steve Martin, Rick Thomas, Paul Cottrill, and Steve Scott.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington on March 29, 2025 with a service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Debbie Deweese officiating. Burial will follow at Woodmere Memorial Park.
