I went to Beverly Hills Jr. And HEHS with Catherine and only found out this evening of her passing when I ran into an old friend. I am truly saddened , she was always sweet and friendly to everyone and beautiful inside and out.

Mrs. Masters was my support through middle school. she was always there for me and I cried for hours when I heard of the accident. You will be greatly missed.

Catherine was one of my best friends in junior high school. She was a beautiful person both inside and out. I remember her mom Dottie fondly also. I was Catherine's 6th grade teacher and am greatly saddened by the news of the tragic accident. I remember Catherine as a smart and conscientious student who was also very sweet and beautiful. She was loving and caring as a young girl, and I'm sure as a middle school librarian she inspired and touched many young lives with her warmth and kindness. I know she was deeply loved by many and will be sorely missed.

I went to school with her dad, James Thompson. I didn't know Catherine, but do know that the greatest tragedy in life, other than losing your parents, would be to lose a child instantly, no matter what the age. I would be so overcome with grief, it would be difficult for me to breathe. I am so, so, sorry for your loss.

I am truely saddened by her passing. her mother was my third grade teacher and i was a library assistant when i was at BHMS. she was a wonderful person and blessing to anyone who knew her. My prayers go out to her husband and parents along with the rest of her family.

Jim/Dottie: Our hearts are breaking for you at Catherine's passing. Sincerest sympathy at this terrible,senseless loss. We knew and loved her from Kindergarten, Middle school and High School and through the years. Her and Kim were such good friends and we loved watching them grow and cheer all those years together. Our hearts go out to the family in this dark hour . She has touched so many lives and influenced the future with the impact she has had on her students . She will be remembered an honored now an in the future because of her loving and supportive roll with all those she came in contact with . Catherine's bubbly personality and her zest for life was a defining part of her. She was the epitome of a person comfortable in her own skin. It was always amusing to see Catherine in her edgy fun clothes. She will be greatly missed. My sincere sympathies to her mom and dad and her husband. Miss the pontoon days with good memories.
