CHARLES PATRICK GOHEEN, 61, of Denver, Colorado, passed peacefully March 16, 2018, at Denver Health Center, surrounded by family. Charlie was born November 6, 1956, in Huntington, West Virginia, the sixth child of JoAnn Blair Goheen and Harry Goheen Jr. His parents preceded him in death, in addition to a sister, Mary Kathryn Goheen, a brother, Michael Goheen, and brother-in-law, Patrick Clifford. Charles is survived by sisters, Bridget Goheen and Christine Clifford of Huntington; brothers, Bill (Connie) Goheen of Huntington and Stephen (Melissa) Goheen of Virginia Beach, Virginia; nephews, Blair (Ashley) Goheen of Union, Kentucky, Drew (Molly) Goheen of Cincinnati, Ohio, Robert Clifford (Kim Bowers) of Nashville, Tennessee, Nicholas Clifford of Huntington; great-nephew, Liam Goheen, and great-niece, Ella Goheen, of Union, Kentucky; and many aunts, uncles and cousins of the Goheen and Blair families. Charlie attended St. Joseph Schools, graduated from Huntington High School and from Marshall University. After many years of travel, Charlie found a home in Denver, where he lived for more than 25 years. We want to acknowledge the many friends Charlie had in Denver and thank them for their kindness shown to us on our visit and their friendship with Charlie. To the health care team of Denver Health Center, sincere gratitude for your excellent care, kindness given to Charlie and us. You are truly angels on Earth. A Memorial Mass will be said at St. Joseph Church in Huntington at 11 a.m. on April 7, 2018, officiated by Monsignor Borgmeyer. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations or volunteering to a charity of your choice in Charlie's name.

To Billy, Bridget, Christine and Steve: Unfortunately, I won't be in attendance at St. Joe on Saturday. Please accept my love and condolence on Charlie's passing. You will be surrounded by a very loving and supportive family at this time and we know Charlie is now peacefully at rest.
