Charlotte Miller Obituary


CHARLOTTE ANN ROBINSON MILLER, 86, of Proctorville, OH, went to see Jesus on October 18, 2025. The Wilgus native was born on May 8th, 1939, to the late Dale and Hazel Robinson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Terri Miller Sexton; sister, Gloria Johnson, and 3 brothers, Keith, Rondal, and Tom Robinson.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis; two daughters, Jamie (Steve) Colegrove of Willow Wood, OH, and Lori (Terry) Martin of Barboursville, WV; one sister, Linda (Phil) Hilgenberg of Mt. Orab, OH; six grandchildren, Seth and Nathan Colegrove, Brice Sexton, Maggie Tatum, and Jacob and Bode Martin; 5 great-grandchildren, Jonesy and Ara Lynn Colegrove, Miles, Oaklynn, and Tate Sexton, and Tyrion Colegrove. Mrs. Miller was a graduate of Waterloo High School and Ohio University. She was an elementary school teacher and taught at Dawson Bryant and Symmes Valley schools. She retired from Gallia County schools and was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church but attended Mount Hope Missionary Baptist Church for the past 8 years.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory in Proctorville, OH, with Pastor Mark Roach, officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Wilgus-Fairview Cemetery in Wilgus, OH.
