Doris Humble Obituary

Doris S. Humble was born Dec. 20, 1921, in Cincinnati, and was a native of Lorain, Ohio. A resident of Baton Rouge and former longtime resident of Natchez, Miss., she died Wednesday, March 10, 2010. Survived by a son, Thomas S. Humble Jr. and his wife, Margaret, Baton Rouge; a daughter, Linda H. Bush, Baton Rouge; and a grandson, Grady B. Humble, Austin, Texas. Preceded in death by her spouse of 48 years, Thomas S. Humble, who was of Natchez, Miss.; brother, Hank Frederick, who was of New York; and son-in-law, Roy "Bo" Bush, who was of Baton Rouge. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Friday, March 12, from 5 p.m. until memorial service in the chapel at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Capital Area Animal Welfare Society or a charity of your choice.
