Daniel Jason "Jake" Ingels

DANIEL JASON "JAKE" INGELS, 52, of Huntington, WV, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 14, 2025 at Trinity Church of God, Huntington, with Pastor Jennie Lawrence officiating.
Jake was born October 30, 1973 in Huntington, WV a son of Connie Halstead-Mol (Cliff) and the late Danny Ingels. He was a member of the IBEW Local 317, and the Huntington Rifle and Pistol Club. He previously attended St. Joe's Catholic Church, but was a current member of Trinity Church of God. Jake was an avid hunter and fisherman; he loved anything to do with the outdoors and nature. He was also a big animal lover and was especially fond of his dog Gypsy.
In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Sarah and Howard Ingels, Leona Rose and Roger Eugene Halstead; special friends, Jeff Cheek and Roger Jordan.
Survivors include; sister, Danelle S. Ingels; step-brother, Jason Mol; mother of his son, Beth Ingels; son, Bryson Gage Ingels; special cousins, Terry Halstead, Heath Halstead, Kimberly Ingles-Carlisle; special friends, Randy Christian, Mark Bentley, Bob Legg, Rick Willie, Donna Turner, Joe Ekers, Chris Houston, Joe Adkins; special aunt and uncle, Jim (Marsha) Ingels; Silas Stone Beam who he thought of as a son; and a host of special friends.
Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington is assisting the family.
