Deborah Louise Stivers

DEBORAH LOUISE STIVERS, 72, of Huntington, WV passed away, Monday, November 24, 2025, at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born September 19, 1953, in Auburn, NY the daughter of the late John Manley Stivers and Olive Jameson Stivers.
She was a retired Medical Coder with Hershel "Woody" Williams V.A. Medical Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Stivers. Her volunteer work included being a rape counselor and hotline volunteer for Contact of Huntington for over twenty years and Faith In Action for several years and the Boy Scouts volunteer for over thirty years with Troup 762 and Venturing 762.
She is survived by her husband of Forty-eight years, Ed Dzierzak of Huntington, WV; Two children, Jan Stivers Dzierzak (Kelsey) of Bridgeport, WV and Jamie Stivers Dzierzak (Ally Bias-Dzierzak) of Aiken, SC; three sisters, Susan Stivers of Louisville, KY, Jackie Stivers of Fairport, NY and Sandra Palmer of Fairmont, NY; one granddaughter, Sophia Mitchell of Bridgeport, WV and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at Henson and Kitchen Mortuary and Cremation Services 1592 E. Pea Ridge Rd. Huntington, WV near Barboursville. The family will receive friends an hour prior to services on Saturday at the mortuary.
