Dorothy Lucas Obituary
DOROTHY CAROLE "DOTTIE" LUCAS, 84, of South Point, OH, passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at her residence. Funeral service will be conducted at Noon Friday, December 19, 2025, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Carol Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Greenbottom Memorial Park Lesage, WV.
Dorothy was born September 29, 1941, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late James and Helen (Williams) Unroe. She was a member of River Cities Lighthouse Church. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Hamilton "Teddy" Blake, second husband, Arno "Sam" Lucas; sons, Teddy Joseph Blake, Timothy Scott Blake; daughter, Tonni Angela Riley and her beloved pet Poncho.
Survivors include: daughter, Helen "Rosie" Cremeans; daughter-in-Law, Susan Blake; stepdaughter, Julia Lucas; and a host of grandchildren and great - grandchildren.
Dottie loved camping, she often liked to recall the memories she made while camping.
Her family would like to give special thanks to Julia Ash, Susan Adkins, and Diane Adkins for caring for Dottie.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to Noon on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Chapman's Mortuary.

"Aunt" Dottie was always loving and gracious every time I visited her and Uncle Sam. After his passing she was always happy when I visited and we talked for hours. The way she took care of Sam was amazing. She was a true saint!
