EARL WILLIAM "WINK" MAY, 88, of Barboursville, passed away June 29, 2025.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2025 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Pastor James Jobe. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton.
He was born April 26, 1937 in Barboursville, a son of the late Earl Kinnard May and Pearline Deskins May. He retired from Operating Engineers 132, Huntington with over 50 years of service. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, June Henson; sons-in-law, Paul Staley and Tim Custer; one sister, Joyce McClure; one grandson, Roger McGlothin, II; and one great-grandson, Noah McGlothin.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Patricia Taylor May; five daughters, Brenda Robertson (J.R.) of Barboursville, Cindy Woods (Bill) of Lesage, Teresa Adkins (Rick) of Lesage, Summer Staley (Tschaca Hardy) of Barboursville, and Tara Custer of Ona; three sisters, Hope Wolfe of Huntington, Ann Piper Kosem of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Jan Windsor of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and three great- great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
