My prayers are with you, Stanley, Jonathan, Michael, James, April, and all of the family and friends.
At times of loss, rejoicing may be difficult, but I am thankful for our Christian faith and our perspective; we know indeed that Edna is now in a much better place. Edna came to an end to her suffering, which she had been enduring patiently for a long time. Our human emotions may tend to move us to tears, but the Christ within us is full of joy for her transition to Glory.
I had the privilege of spending time with Stanley and Edna just last autumn and met their children, I believe, for the first time. They are a beautiful family. The love that Stanley demonstrated for Edna was truly inspiring as he tenderly cared for her.
But now I am so happy for Edna as she has gone to her true home in God's loving arms.
