EDWARD ADKINS Obituary
EDWARD EARL ADKINS JR., 73, of Proctorville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, W.Va. Edward was born January 31, 1943, in Huntington, W.Va., son of the late Edward E. and Elsie Adkins Sr. Edward was retired from AC&F, was a faithful member of the 5th Avenue Freewill Baptist Church, and was a US Army veteran. Edward is survived by his wife Linda Lowe Adkins; daughter Ella (Tim) Thomas; two sons, Edward Earl (Amanda) Adkins III, and Roddie Joe Adkins; four grandchildren, Timothy Thomas Jr., Paula Thomas, Edward Earl Adkins IV, and Hannah Grace Adkins; two sisters, Pat Jenkins and Christine Fain; brother Michael Adkins; uncle whom he considered as a brother, Coy Adkins; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio, by Pastor Ray Vance. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery, Willow Wood, Ohio. Visitation will be one hour before the service from 2 to 3 p.m. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
