EDWIN MURDOCK Obituary
EDWIN EUGENE MURDOCK, 65 of Live Oak, Fla., passed away November 10, 2016. He was born November 15, 1950, a son of the late Billy and Mary Lou Murdock. He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Diana Murdock and Patricia Booth and one son, David Maynard. He was a graduate of Chesapeake High School and retired from the City of Huntington. Eddie is survived by his wife of 40 years, Janice Murdock; two sisters, Barbara Byrd of Bridgeport, Ohio and Beatrice "BB" Waugh of Milton, W.Va.; two sons, Dwayne Maynard of Ashland, Ky., and Daryl Maynard of Stewart, Fla.; two daughters, Kisha Bass of El Paso, Texas and Marissa Sullivan of Live Oak, Fla. (they were both his Little Princesses); nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren that he loved dearly; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. There will be a memorial of his life at a later date.

You will be missed. Thank you for always treating me like your own. You were the closest thing I ever had to a grandfather. I love Marissa like my sister. I always have and that will never change. Heaven gained a good soul and I hope you rest easy. You will thrive in the hearts of all those who knew you. I'm so happy you got to meet so many of your grandchildren. To my wonderful cousins. Eddie will be missed , but his memory shall always be with us. I remember him as a young lad in Ohio visiting our grandparents upon the hill. May he rest in peace and always be remembered by family and friends.
