EMMA SHEETS Obituary





MRS. EMMA BELLE EATON SHEETS, of Chesapeake, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. A memorial service will be conducted 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Bill Flannery. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at the funeral home. She was born Christmas Day in Chesapeake, Ohio, a daughter of the late John B. Eaton and Inez Thacker Eaton. She is survived by her husband Harold Sheets, one daughter Jill Sheets Kilgore (Russell) of Pickerington, Ohio, one son Scott K. Sheets (Elizabeth) of Huntington, WV, two grandsons Sean Russell Kilgore and Austin Brice Kilgore, one granddaughter Abigail Elizabeth Grace Sheets, her sisters Carolyn E. Smith of Chesapeake, Ohio, and Johnna Jean Jones (Ernest) of South Point, Ohio, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Emma Belle was a graduate of Marshall University and its graduate school and was a retired teacher with the Chesapeake, Ohio, schools. She was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church of Chesapeake, where she served many years as a Sunday school teacher and church pianist. She was also a former member of the Chesapeake Garden Club. She will be greatly missed by her family members who will cherish her memory.
