FERN H. SPOTLOE

FERN H. SPOTLOE, 88, of Proctorville, Ohio, went home to be with our Lord and risen Savior on Thursday, April 13, 2017, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, W.Va. She was the youngest daughter of the late Cecil and Wilda Freeman Hagley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Mildred Zimmerman, Frances Rucker, Margueritte Ball and Edna Mae Harrison; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Perry N. and Clarice Spotloe; and brother-in-law, Donald W. Spotloe. Fern is survived by the "love of her life," her husband, Edward N. Spotloe; sisters-in-law, Jean Campbell and Patty Spotloe. She also leaves to mourn several nieces and nephews. She was a Huntington East High School graduate and a member of First Baptist Church of Proctorville. She was also a retired employee of Chase Bank. There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio, with her Pastor Jeff Black officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. The family wishes to thank her special caregiver, Donna Lockhart, and the compassionate nurses from St. Mary's Home Health and Hospice of Huntington.
